Edward Darlington Jones papers, 1912-1954.

The papers include two scrapbooks covering the lives of Edward Darlington Jones and Ona Rogers Jones, the ship's log of the "Northland" for 1930 and 1931 (the ship Jones skippered for the Revunue Cutter Service on journeys to Alaska), photographs of Alaska in the 1920s and 1930s, and some maps of the Bering Sea region, including the Northeastern coast of Russia, 1911-1912. Other papers pertain to Ona's father, H.A. Rogers, and deal with the seal trade and the Potter Theatre, which he leased, ca. 1910. There are also papers pertaining to Gertrude Sylvia Rogers, probably either Ono's sister or mother.
